Friday afternoon Alexander called me from Moscow. It was the first time I had heard his voice in two months. I was so weird – I had forgotten what it sounds like. Later that night I met him at the airport with his parents. I sat and waited for 20 nervous minutes before he finally came into the arrivals hall. I ran towards him and dropped all my bags on the floor and threw my arms around him. People stared. It felt surrealistic. He’s gotten extremely hot too – like insane. Seriously. Tanned and fit. I can’t stop staring at him. He looks like a greek god. I feel like his pale, chubby, piggy girlfriend in comparison now.

Friday will be a day I’ll always remember.. From the moment I saw him at the airport to the moment I fell asleep in his arms that night it was just like magic. We had a really cosy weekend with dinner with his family, watching series, eating chips for 4 dip sauces haha, walks, cuddling. We had dinner together Saturday night just us and he gave me a silver bracelet as a late anniversary present! Being able to cuddle up in his arms again feels like the best thing in the world.

It’s not easy to pick up where you left off two months earlier with a person how kind of disappeared. It’s hard not to be awkward and nervous. We used to be so, so close.

I hope everything will be like it was. That I will too.  I’m so happy he’s finally home. I miss him already
